Hard shell tents generally share a similar pop-up or clamshell like design, meaning their setup times a touch quicker at (30seconds - 2 minutes)
They offer a more compact, slimline & aerodynamic design than their soft counterpart.
Due to their protective hard shell, they tip the scales slightly higher and are a touch more expensive than traditional softshells.
